What should be done:

I'm a little fish, but my fins are big, (wave your outstretched hands)

I wave them around, when they want to swim.

When they want to breathe, I wiggle the gills, (put your hands on either side of your mouth and move them back and forth)

And with a flick of my tail, I greet you. (wave "tail”)

This little fox stayed at home, (straighten your index finger)

This little fox has eaten a few berries, (straighten your middle finger)

That little fox didn't eat anything, (straighten the ring finger)

This little fox is escaping secretly! (straighten the little finger)

What else can be done:

Science: Cut out the silhouettes of various animals and their homes from the felt (nest, tree, pond etc.). Have the children match pets to their place of residence.
