Materials:
ice cube molds
food dyes
water
blue juice, pink lemonade or any other brightly colored drink (red may be too dark for this exercise)
small cups (preferably made of transparent plastic)

What should be done:

1. Add a few sprinkles and food coloring to the water and pour it into molds. make sure, that the dye is a different color to the selected drink.

2. Freeze colored water.

3. Pour the brightly colored drink into the cups.

4. Let the children add colorful ice cubes to the drink. Follow, how the color of the liquid changes as the ice dissolves.

Ice cream

SNACKS AND COOKING

Materials:
strawberry juice or lemonade
lollipop sticks
paper cups

What should be done:

1. Let the kids fill their paper cups with strawberry juice or lemonade.

2. Put the lollipop sticks in the liquid and put it in the freezer.

3. Serve as a delicious snack on hot days.

Caution: Pay attention to possible food allergies among children.

What else can be done:

Snacks: Make ice cream with orange yoghurt. connect 2 glasses of plain yogurt, a can of orange concentrate (Ok. 0,5 Litre) and 2 teaspoons of vanilla. Mix well and freeze in empty yoghurt containers or paper cups.
