Ten deer
GESTURES, SONGS AND POEMS
Materials: lack
What should be done:
1. Invite the children to recite the following poem together and make the gestures that accompany it:
Ten deer (raise ten fingers)
Lived in the forest. (nod)
They listened to the frog singing, as the story goes, (put your hand to your ear)
Then they ran up the hill (run your fingers over your hand)
And they sped back down, (run your fingers down the other hand)
On the right, on the left, (run your fingers right and left)
Then they rested, (rest your head on your hands)
What else can be done:
Replace deer with other animals, for example badgers. Have the children propose more pets and repeat the rhyme, until they get bored of it.
